"Miles turned one on Feb 15. We really didn't know how to commemorate the big day. We wanted to do something that he would really love and since we don't really know what that is yet, we had to make some leaps. He loves cheese and making new friends at the coffee shop and dogs. Since a wine and cheese social at the Starbucks felt a bit grown up for a 1 year old's party, we came up with the dog park cake. My mother was in town and she game me some good tips on frosting - she used to make the most elaborate cakes for us as kids. We think Miles liked it. And now the bar is set for next year."
