Holland Show opens at 10am tomorrow!


All the new paintings (including the watercolors, which are up on Main Street) are posted on the website.

Jim Holland's show marks the beginning of Commercial Street's summer season. If history is any indication, people will be lined up outside when the gallery opens Saturday morning. And at 6pm Jim will be at the gallery meeting people. We always like seeing Jim, and old friends from around town and beyond tend to show up at the openings.

Art Outside the Box

Every year the Cape Cod Children's Place has Lunchbox Auction. Several artists are invited to embellish lunch boxes, which are then auctioned at the Blue Heron Gallery in Wellfleet. Here's the invitation:
Join us for a silent auction of artful lunchboxes created by gallery artists. Proceeds will benefit young children and families on the Lower and Outer Cape. These programs are provided by Cape Cod Children't Place, a non-profit family resource center adn the hub of services for families from Provincetown to Harwich.
